Should we keep [combat]?

This tag doesn't sound like it is one that will have any experts in it as combat is different in many games. I would recommend removing this tag.

Why have the tag [timeline-cheapass-games] instead of renaming it [timeline]?

There's another game called Timeline that's more widely known (nearly 1000 reviews on BoardGameGeek, sold at mass-market stores) that's not by Cheapass Games. I can't find a BoardGameGeek page for ...

Should we keep [specific-card]?

No, the tag specific-card should not exist. The purpose of a tag is to label a category or topic that someone would either search for or watch. This tag does not do any of that, so it should be ...

Should we have a trivia tag?

We should allow trivia questions, but not introduce a tag for it. I borrowed justification from The Death of Meta Tags, by Jeff Atwood. The trivia tag is a meta tag. It describes a particular "kind" ...

Can't find the game "Wild Cards", so can't fill out the tag wiki

That question is essentially asking for us to identify a game, where all we have to go on is the name they think they remember and some of the rules. So, it should be tagged with identify-this-game. ...

Are game category tags (party-game, team-game, etc) worth keeping?

My vote is to Delete them all. I've always favored using game tags are our main form of tagging and don't have much use for tags which encompass more than one game. Exceptions are certain tags which ...

Why are there two different tags for gin-rummy
