While it shows as a tag-synonym on the openings page. If you try to add it to a question, it doesn't have the (s), and it didn't migrate the tags over, so there are still 11 questions with 'opening'.

ok I tried to take care of them all. Since you can't search for a synonymed tag, I can't be sure.

@LanceRoberts Its over 3 years since this issue was raised, questions can still have one or both of the tags. Please see if more attention needs to be raised.

@ghosts_in_the_code, no, it did get synonymed. Notice that when you search for either you end up with the same number of questions. I found no questions with both tags.
